Advice on 7 string pickups

Hi,

What would people advise in terms of pickups... I want a pair of humbuckers to give me a wide range of tones. I play a lot of metal but also want a crisp middle pickup sound out of it. The guitar body won't accomodate an actual single coil mid pickup though. Its a 7 string ESP MH-307. The standard HZ pickups are too noisy, too low output and have a very muddy sounding low end.

I've considered:

1) a pair of EMG active 707s 2) Duncan Invader (Bridge), Duncan Jazz (or similar) neck

Are there any better options for 7-string pickups?
