Announcing the 1st New Cello Concerto of the 21st Century!!!

I would also like to announce that I have also posted on my mp3.com site the first cello concerto composed during the 21st century. This work was composed and recorded during the summer of 2000. Like the piano concerto that is posted on the same website, it does not feature the use of an actual instruments. All instruments were recorded on electric guitar using midi technology to synthesize the sounds of the cello and other orchestral instruments. I once saw an avertisement for a Pamela Anderson movie where the only reason given to watch it was that you got to see her naked. (I swear I'm not making this up.) My guess it was a crap movie. Since this poor bastard can't say, 'Listen to my piece! It's great!' I would guess it is equally bad.

I think you should now compose the century's first Concerto for Heldentenor and Orchestra (perhaps containing wistfully permutated quotations of Reinhold Gliere's Concerto for Coloratura Soprano to create a 'drag' effect) and allow it to be performed by the ultimate wholistic vocalist, Ken B. Lane (and released on Valhalla Records)....

So post a link to your concerto.

Whahaha you should write a fluteaphone concerto!! yep some guy here in Minnesota a year back won some stupid baka award for making a music instrument, it was the fluteaphone!! whahaha so anywayz I don't think anyone has created a concerto for that instrument LOL

It would of course feature the theme from that famous aria 'Dirge Lane', and perhaps even quotes of Judas Priest's 'Hellbent for Heldentenors'.

Which just goes to show that Jarl is not only faster than Yngwie Malmstein, he's faster than Dr Matt.
