May sound like a stupid question, but how will this extreme weather affect our precious guitars.??

One minute is bloody hot and humid - next it's just bloody hot - next it's bloody humid - you get my 'bloody' drift.??!!??

Anything we can do to save our 'babies'.???

Guitars are built to withstand much greater weather extremes than this bland British stuff so they'll be fine, don't worry. Of course they won't stay in tune from one number to the next, but...

It's actually doing favours for me (the weather, not your SG). My bass is playing better than even. When the heat goes up the action just seems to lower.

Just think 'Texas', 'Florida', 'Southern California'... they'll be fine!

'Extreme' weather?

Alright, so it's a bit hotter than usual in this island, but... 'extreme'?

I thing most guitars were built in more 'extreme' environments than this.

You forget, José, that the rain being unusually warm is the UKs idea of good weather.

Playing a BBQ on Sunday - the hottest day of the year - and the guitars were fine ......no worries .....

My Marshall acoustic amp however, started to break up about 3:00, so I switched it off and DI'd the singers guitar through the PA. That lasted 'til about 5:00pm when it became Southern Fried PA just before the end of the last song of the day....

After paying the artists I ended up with 40 quid in the pocket and 500 quids worth of dead kit .... It must be Rock & Roll....
