...and I infer from his Q&A page that he bought a transformer, wired it wrongly, burnt out a couple of valves and tried to blame the valve supplier for selling faulty valves and then the transformer supplier for selling a generic transformer?

I think that either Tony is very unlucky in his dealings with other people or...
