Hi Guys

Just a few thoughts for you

1/ In your opinion, does a song have to follow verse, chorus, bridge theme as I know some great songs that do not follow this theme. Indeed I know a few songs which run almost all the way with one chord and still sound great. To me this is ok, how about you guys.

2/ I really like almost all the stuff I've written, is this normal because it's something you feel emotional about, or is it sometimes due to looking at what you've done through blinkered vision, IE not seeing the big picture.

3/ I am a huge Elton fan. Not that huge 5' 9'. Anyway, having followed him for three decades it's clear to me that his Royal Academy of Music training was very important to his long term success in terms of structure, mood and atmosphere, in relation to his songwriting.

What do you think.

I really like this group, thanks for understanding and giving me a second chance.

To me, a song can do anything. In fact, a song can be anything. If you want to enter the mainstream, you should learn to write common formats. Just good education.

I like much of the music & lyrics I've written. It's not ego, I like alot of other people's stuff too. I have more CDs by other people. Nothing wrong with liking your stuff. Why else write it?

Tell me why you think so? He was awarded that scholarship when he was eleven and dropped out before graduating.

Sometimes, one chord is all it takes.

picture.

I usually like my stuff to start and then get to hate it, because I learn with every new effort and I don't forgive the mistakes of my past.

Who are the other RAM alumni?
