I just saw the movie 'meet the parents.' I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the song playing the background during a certain scene. It's the part when everyone goes to the best mans house. Everyone is walking in while the music is playing. It's a woman that's singing. Thank you, I've been trying to find out for the past month.

Lakme was by Leo Delibes, not Debussy (i.e., the IMDB is in error).

IMDB is not maintained by aficionados of turn-of-the-century French music. Delibes is an unfamiliar name, Debussy is a more familiar, similar name; the confusion is natural. It's why philologists have the principle of _lectio difficilior_: the more unusual option, when faced with differences between manuscripts, is more likely to be the original.
