Can you get Seymour Duncan 'hotrails' type pickups with out the sticky-out lip thing on them ?

e.g. http://www.geocities.com/sean_connolly/i-1.jpg

You mean the wiring point where the cables come out? I don't think so.

What guitar do you want to fit them to? Most single coil guitars are routed to accomodate the wiring 'lip' (for want of a better descriptor) anyway.

There's a Kent ARmstrong enclosed cool-rail on ebay at the moment that looks from the pic that it doesn't have a wiring lip. It's Item number 2534036448. Maybe there's also a hot-rail version.

Thats what I thought actually, I'm pretty certain this one doesn't though. Its a Charvel Model 3DR, http://www.geocities.com/sean_connolly/IMG_1637.jpg (allthough this picture is absolutly no help what so ever!)

I think there is actually. This one would also fit (http://tinyurl.com/d8zq), but its for a bridge position and not neck.
