Have you guys noticed I'm in almost every word of every post! You guys are consumed with the Frogger, think about it. I'm BY FAR the most popular upstanding member here, no one else even comes close. I'm very flattered you have bestowed upon me a crown.. This crown represents all that is good, all that is precious and real about songwriting, I'll where it well, with pride dignity and let it be a constant reminder of all the friends I'm made here and the high acclaim you hold me. (trumpets blaring)...

Tell you what I've noticed, many times in spite of the latest insult tossed, your ability to lay it aside, and still share your thoughts and advice in other threads. I think that's to your credit. Then again, I've noticed lately that you're just assuming everyone is out to get you...they're not. Dolores has shown a very open mind towards you, I remember a post or two where she called you 'our bumper' or something similar, an endearment she doesn't use lightly. She's also made reference to the fact you've taken a lot of crap from others, but stuck around, and got through it. I think sometimes we misunderstand intentions, fly off the handle too quick, and things get complicated before we have a chance to right that first wrong. Anyway...see you've both posted again in the time I've been at this, and on the phone. I hope you'll do the right thing.

Sherryl, The facts are this, nine time out of ten if I take the low road it's because someone has slung low first, this may not make it peachy, but it can be easily show by going back to the beginning of a battle. Here's the interesting part, no one but you and a couple others who don't post much ever seem to notice, or rather purposely don't notice. This whole thing with Bob started because of his insult directed at me when I answered a publishing question. Now, up until that point Bob and I haven't had a nasty word between us for some time, in fact we have had a good relationship out here. You are the only one who admitted his insult was unprovoked and unnecessary he went on the post his Planet of the Ape thing as well, again unprovoked, we hadn't even been talking. You again are the only one to bring this up, why is that? because you don't have an agenda and you tell it like it is. Amerkill posted an insulting Frog song.. I had no problem with him whatsoever and didn't even know him from Adam... You again brought it to the attention, why? because you have no agenda. AmeriKill then starts a new post, reposting a flame thread he had previously written in another thread to make sure everyone saw his insulting remarks, you again brought it to his attention, why? because you have no agenda. Daniel gray, a person I never talked to, never even saw his name before, posted something nasty about me. You again, brought it to his attention, why? because you have no agenda. Are you my protector? No, you have brought things up when I went too far too. You hit the nail on the head in your long post, These people don't think for themselves, there's safety in numbers and they like to gang up and turn a blind eye to whoever the real instigator is, as long as Bumperfrogs names in there somewhere, he's an easy scapegoat. Why are you the only one who sees it for what it is? because you have no agenda. Jon, Bob, Gary, Sean, Kill, etc., can all dish it out but can't take it. I can dish it out to, but take it back and don't cry about it and pretend to be leaving the board and come back as newbie. I truly think, honestly that when someone comes along who thinks for themselves, is outspoken, opinionated, is experienced and knows his stuff, then people who aren't as comfortable in their own skin or don't like to learn things get intimidated and defensive. This is what's happened here. Someone comes along who knows a little more or offers different advice from the norm and people don't know how to react because they themselves fall in line. Another fact, each and every one of the people I mentioned has demeaned, insulted and flamed as much as the next.

Here's what I think froggy... Just to be clear this is not a flame but an observation. Very simply, I think you might be a lonely person that has inadequacy issues. You probably act as tyrant / control freak around the people that are close to you. I believe at one point you probably had success via songwriting, but whatever it was is now simply a thing of the past. You probably very rarely do much inner reflection. If you find anything about yourself to confront you most likely disregard it into the abyss of mental clutter. You would be right about being the most popular member. The problem is you've accomplished this not out of respect but of loathing.

Well, my wife is the boss, so the control freak thing is out. Lonely? no way, It would be impossible to be lonely with the wife and kids I have, lucky yes, lonely.. not in 15 years. Confronting myself? sure we all have a few issues, nothing I can't get through. Success, I've always felt successful, everyday working towards your goals means you are successful, there's been ups and downs, but the lean years are a thing of the past, thank God. So I would say your analysis is as far of the mark as can be.. Now give me the bill so I can go golfing!

Well, i agree w/Toy's view.. whatever the truth may be (this is cyberspace so detating that is pointless), his description is EXACTLY how you come accross. I've wanted to say this many times in the past but haven't because I don't like adding to the noise... I personally think you've ruined what I liked about this group, but I it is your right to do this, and it simply means i move rmms down on my list of useful resources.

Well, try not to be so weak, you'll get much further in life and remember, you can do anything you want, anything you can dream you can be, a dream is nothing more then your mind telling you what your capable of.
