Hello, I bought this guitar for £20 a while back:

as you can see it's in a bit of a state I thought I might do it up. I didn't know JHS made guitars, I thought they just did accessories so I wondered if anyone had any info on it, especially the pickups, I've never seen any like those before. Cheers,

that looks similar to those melody maker Gibsons of the 80's or is it maurader? they were the only gibbo electrics with a bolt on neck, what the hell was there name? Lee aka lynard

S-1 or marauder. Jef Lyne used to use a marauder a lot ( that´s knocked the value even more

I think they were bolt on necks. I always thought the flying V head stock looked particularly good on the Marauder.
