My connection to music is not through creating it but through listening to it. Although I am a creative person, and understand the creative process, I can still not help being in awe by the fact that mere humans create music, and the romance of performing in front of crowds and mesmerising them, if you are lucky, is something that arouses my curiosity, no end.
Nicolas Phan did a great post about stepping in with half a days notice for a performance at Carnegie Hall.
I am filled with awe!
