New MP3

I put up another song on MP3.com- kind of a fifties feel, walking bass- not the best lyrics, but as always, I'd appreciate any input.

Hi Laura Lyrically I like the idea and I think they are fine. Melodically I think it's too generic country I would like you to make it a little less predicable not a lot just a bit. The harmony arrangement is nice but I feel it is not suitable for the lyric I would like to hear you sing this with more attitude and drop the harmonies back in the mix.

I agree with Gary that the lyrics are fine but the vocals need more attitude. I think you should sing it like your publicly humuliating the deadbeat hero of the song in a dramatic fashion;'hey everybody lets say good riddence to the loser'. You want this deadbeat to leave with his tail between his legs and regret in their hearts. The only reason I say anything at all is that I can tell you've got it in you to raise it up a notch. The slide guitar is something I always enjoy.
