Im looking for a small 'practice' amp, I tried out a Marshall AVT 20 today and wasn't happy, the gain was to harsh, I use a Orange AD30 head and 4x12 and need something small to take to guitar lessons/Friends houses, I Plays blues and rock, I need something that has the Bluesy brakeup of my orange with but sounds nice with loads of gain!? Is that poss? Budget - 300 quids

If you play a Strat I would check out the Fender Blues Junior, a bit more than you budget but its valve and gives great Fender blues tones.
