Hi folks,

I'm looking to tart up my DI recorded bass sound. I've been offered the use of an original SansAmp stomp box - Has anyone else tried this? My other option is a guitar POD but I'm thinking that the analog unit might be a bit smoother for straightforward (and non-extreme) amp 'n' cab simulation, and I wonder how low the POD's digital conversion goes.

Any other (non-GAS) suggestions gratefully received.

Rev. Andy

Do you mean a Sansamp Bass Driver DI Andy? If so I thoroughly recommend it. Very versatile and a great sound too. I always take mine wherever I play. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.
