David, I have managed to find an old instumental I did on my Tascam 4 track some time ago and posted it on my site. It's called 'Banish The Ancestor' (at the bottom in the old section). It was improv but as I recorded the rhythm guitar I knew what was supposed to be 'relayed.' You are welcome to take this and rework it to fit your song if you wish.
I work full-time; go to school full-time (next week), and have two kids,so for me studio time is few and far between. I did just buy a mic for our jam room (not the studio/bedroom) where I hope to capture the skeletons of future songs 'live' as we jam. My wife plays bass and once in a great while some folks will come over. I can probably find time to put your lyrics in front of me and press 'record' as I strum away (probably on my new Crafted in Japan Telecaster Blue Flower reissue rather than the more appropriate Martin, it'll be a brittle skeleton). My weakness is the inability to generate a separate melody line for lyrics and I can't sing either (I used to play guitar and bass in punk bands in the '80s), but who knows.
Again, if you've got the digital technology (which I sort of do but don't mess with) to take that song and rework it or just take the progression and see if it fits, have at it.
The folks who know how to celebrate life deserve something for what our demented cultural mentality has done to them.
Phil
