it's funny, I've been working on this up tempo country rock type song and couldn't find a good way to start the song, just for the heck of it I tried starting with the chorus after trying everything else, it works great and sets up the song right away, as soon as it starts you are bolted in to the thick of things, toe a tappin. In all the songs I've written I've never done this before as far as I can remember. What popular songs start of with the chorus? None come to mind off the top of my head.

Wow, come to think of it I can't think of a dozen more songs from the Beatles that start with the chorus. That's proof enough it's affective!
