Out of curiosity add to this thread the Event & Site & Orchestra celebrating the 4th of July by playing the 1812 Overture, starting with:

'A Capitol Fourth 2001 features the National Symphony Orchestra, led by premier pops conductor Erich Kunzel, Irish Tenors Ronan Tynan, Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright, and a star-studded array of guest performers, who add their own sparkle to the festivities. Perennial audience favorites include the '1812 Overture' with live cannons and John Philip Sousa's 'Stars and Stripes Forever.'
