As some of you know, I took over the Willem Mengelberg Society after the death of its founder, Ronald Klett, with no one's permission. I just did it, and the revived Society exists entirely online as an e-mail list that I manage. There is no cost whatsoever, and I repost messages sent to me by members and pick up the most relevent postings on the UseNet newsgroups.
I haven't been viewing the newsgroups much lately and found quite a number of them dealing with the great Dutch conductor that I'll consolidate and post to my e-mail list in about a week. This is to give UseNet readers an opportunity to join. Just send me an e-mail.
